Tuesday January 24, 5:30pm
In our day-to-day work, we’re so busy staying on top of everything that we rarely have time to take a step back and explore new ideas and possibilities. At the same time, technology is constantly evolving and trying to keep up with every new development is overwhelming. These new technologies are even changing the way we work and the way we interact with supporters and clients.
At this month’s Net Tuesday, we’re going to take the time to think, discuss, explore and imagine how changes in technology could impact our work. Instead of having speakers, the focus will be on small group discussions. The goal is to brainstorm how tech trends could impact your nonprofit’s work - both big picture ideas and small, concrete steps. Trends to discuss include the prevalence of smartphones and tablets, or the increased popularity of infographics, or the cloud making it easier to work remotely...
Agenda for the evening:
* Welcome & overview of tech trends to be discussed
* Break into small groups; discuss & brainstorm
* Share ideas with the whole group
If you RSVP and find out later that you can’t attend, please change your RSVP to “Not Attending” to accommodate others who may be interested.
Donation price: $5.00 (Pay in cash at the door. Receipts available.)
