Guidelines
Eligibility Criteria
- Donated products will be distributed under this program to
qualifying organizations only, which will then assign the accounts to
individuals.
- This donation is available to Canadian Registered Charities with a Confirmation of Registration letter from the Canada Revenue Agency and Canadian libraries. Canadian public libraries must appear on a list collected for us by the Public Library Services Branch, Ministry of Education, in British Columbia.
- Organizations that advocate, support, or
practice discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national
origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or
socioeconomic background are not eligible to participate in this
program. Organizations must be willing and able to attest that they
do not discriminate on any of these grounds in order to receive
donations.
- Donation recipients must be 18 years of age or older.
Guidelines
- One Flickr donation request may be fulfilled within a fiscal year (July 1 to June 30).
- Recipient
organizations must be willing and able to provide information to Flickr
for the purposes of creating a case study or testimonial on this
program.
- Donated products may not be transferred or resold.
- Because
Flickr is a Yahoo! company, each donation recipient must have a Yahoo!
account, either an existing one or a new one. A new Yahoo! account is
easily obtainable via the Flickr home page with the Create Your Account
button. This Yahoo! account is used to sign in to Flickr and is subject
to the Yahoo! Terms of Use.
