Jane
Executive Director

As one of the founders of TechSoup Canada, Jane has been part of the organization since its launch in 2009. As Executive Director, Jane builds relationships between the voluntary, public, and private sectors to make technology more accessible for charity and nonprofits. She has extensive experience in the IT field, as well as the nonprofit sector; in particular she's both founded and acted in a leadership role in nonprofit organizations aimed at helping to bridge the digital divide. In her free time, you can find Jane playing video games, running half marathons and hanging out with her cats.

Bénédicte
Account Manager/Chargé de clientèle

Benedicte is responsible for helping organizations with any problems they have regarding the donations program. She has experience in customer service and facilitating IT training sessions. When not at TechSoup Canada, she loves to turn her kitchen into a lab and to create her own natural products. Soaps, kombucha and detergent are her latest experiments. She also loves to write about Toronto-based sustainable brands.

Chris
Account Manager

Chris is responsible for helping nonprofits navigate the donations program and implement the best possible resources. With a proud background in customer service and various types of fundraising, which includes direct response and events, Chris is passionate about helping others to make the world a better place. Outside of TechSoup Canada, Chris can be found playing softball, reading comic books, or on a leisurely bicycle ride.

 

Data magic Donna

Donna
Tech Systems Specialist

Donna is a tech systems specialist with a focus on data management. Donna helps TechSoup Canada with administration of their own tech systems and works to wrangle and expose data that helps TechSoup provide effective service for charities, libraries and nonprofits. Donna loves learning and has a degree in electrical engineering. Outside of TechSoup, Donna's interests include cooking, making silly bracelets for friends, and playing melancholy indie video games.

Joyce
Communications Lead

Joyce manages TechSoup Canada's marketing and communication initiatives including member engagement, learning resources, branding, community partnerships, outreach and product campaigns. Having previously worked in the charitable sector as a fundraiser, program staff and event planner, Joyce understands firsthand how technology can empower or hinder nonprofits. She has a deep love for the world of philanthropy and seeks to help nonprofits be more efficient and effective with technology. In her free time, you can find Joyce playing with her puppy and bunny, and indulging in RPGs.

Maja
Account Manager

Maja is responsible for helping nonprofits take advantage of the technology donations program, saving them a little bit of time, money and stress. She has a degree in Computer Science and a lot of love for the hard-working organizations who make our world a better place. When not at work you can find her stuck under a barbell or shamelessly binge watching bad TV.

Neil
Account Manager

Neil's goal at TechSoup Canada is to help nonprofits make the most of the technology donations program, so they can redirect their funds back into their mission. Having worked in various roles in customer service and community organizing, Neil is passionate about social justice helping other people. When he's not in the office, Neil spends lots of time playing in the kitchen and loves to go hiking, biking, and snowboarding.

Account Manager/Chargé de clientèle

Yael's mission at TechSoup is to make sure that nonprofits understand and make the most of the donations program and other resources available. He has an extensive background in customer service, marketing and graphic design. Yael studied International Trade in English at the University of Portsmouth. In his free time, you can find Yael rock climbing, video editing and experimenting with stuff.

Our dream has always been to help those of us restrained by something outside of our control. In your case, that might be your budget; in Katsumoto’s case, it’s the bowl. That’s why we made him our mascot. Also, he’s orange.
