About Techsoup Canada
TechSoup Canada is a team of 8 people dedicated to empowering charities, nonprofits and libraries with the effective use of technology.
TechSoup Canada is a program of the Centre for Social Innovation, and a member of the TechSoup Global Network. Being a nonprofit ourselves, we understand all too well the challenges facing the Canadian nonprofit sector and we want to help. We can connect you to donated and discounted technologies through our technology donations program and provide valuable learning resources to equip you and your colleagues with technology tips and best practices.
We know that our sector is achieving great work and we believe we can have an even greater impact through the appropriate use of technology. Let us help you on your tech journey!
Technology Donations Program
Qualified charities, nonprofits and libraries can order donated and discounted software, such as Microsoft Office, Bitdefender Antivirus and Shopify, for a very low administrative fee.
How is this possible? Through the generosity of our technology donor partners, such as Microsoft, Symantec, Adobe and Cisco, and their commitment to help the nonprofit sector.
Ever wonder which technology solution is best for you? You're not alone.
Putting the Soup in TechSoup Canada
Did we mention that we love soup? Every month we include a yummy soup recipe in our newsletter, By the Cup, so you can learn about technology and try amazing soups (and no, we’re not kidding).
The TechSoup Canada Recipe
TechSoup Canada was formed in 2009 as a collaborative effort of the Centre for Social Innovation, TechSoup and the Information Technology Association of Canada. This initiative was made possible through a seed funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation. We are grateful to all of our donor partners, partners and supporters for helping us with our mission.
To date, TechSoup Canada has over 31,000 members and has helped the Canadian nonprofit sector save over $303 million on technology investments.
TechSoup, formerly known as Compumentor, is one of the oldest and largest nonprofit technology assistance agencies in the United States. TechSoup's mission is to equips changemakers with transformative technology solutions and skills they need to improve lives globally and locally. Whether you have resources to give or solutions you need to get, TechSoup facilitates the exchange. TechSoup's programs are now available locally in many countries through the TechSoup Global Network.
