Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium is a suite of graphic design applications for developing and publishing content for web, print, electronic delivery, and mobile devices.

Version 5.5 features the latest version of InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, Acrobat, and more for creating interactive content from artwork designed with Creative Suite without any coding knowledge. Version Cue revision control software is no longer included in Creative Suite products.

The suite contains the following applications:

• Photoshop CS5 Extended is a graphics editing program for 2D, 3D, motion graphics, and more. In addition to its array of features for graphic designers, Photoshop CS5 Extended offers measurement and analysis tools built with scientists and engineers in mind.
• Illustrator CS5 is a vector-based drawing tool built for professional artists and designers.
• InDesign CS5.5 is a page layout program built for professional print designers to create rich, complex documents. InDesign content can be exported in a variety of formats, including Flash, PDF, and XHTML, enabling easy publishing of the same documents in print and electronic media.
• Dreamweaver CS5.5 is a professional HTML editor for designing, coding, developing, and publishing web pages and web-based applications.
• Flash Professional CS5.5 is an advanced authoring environment for creating rich multimedia content on digital, web, and mobile platforms, with or without interactivity. Web presentation requires a Flash Player–enabled browser; PDA or cell phone presentation requires a Flash Lite–enabled device. Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR) desktop applications require AIR.
• Flash Catalyst CS5.5 is an interaction design tool for creating user interfaces and interactive content for rich Internet applications without writing code. Artwork designed in Photoshop, Fireworks, and Illustrator can be converted into interactive components. Projects can be exported as SWF files for playback in Flash Player or exported as AIR files that can run outside a browser.
• Fireworks CS5 is a vector and bitmap graphics editor for optimizing images for delivery and prototyping content for interactive websites.
• Acrobat X Pro delivers advanced tools for creating, collaborating on, and controlling the output of PDF files.
• Bridge CS5 provides centralized access to project files, media, and settings for all Creative Suite products. Bridge's tagging and search functions, as well as its visual interface, are designed for convenient organization and retrieval of project data.
• Device Central CS5.5 allows users to preview and test websites, Flash Lite projects, graphics, and other content as it will appear on a broad range of mobile phones and other electronic devices.
