Sumac Gold

Description:

Sumac is nonprofit management software. It manages everything from contacts, communications and donations to events, memberships, and volunteers.

There are over a dozen Specialized Modules to choose from, so organizations can create a software solution customized to their specific needs.

Sumac can be a desktop, client-server based or web-hosted program. Please see section 1.3 of http://www.sumac.com/support for details on the requirements to use Sumac.

Capacity: unlimited contacts in the database, unlimited usage.
Users: unlimited simultaneous users.
Modules: Roots Modules included. Add any number of Specialized Modules.

Donation Information:
Each qualified organization is eligible for one order of Sumac Gold through TechSoup Canada. This donation covers all first years fees for the software, including installation, training, updates, and unlimited phone and email support (about a $2,500 value). Data Conversion Process:
Once you have been approved for a donation of Sumac Gold, you will need to convert your data. Likely, what you have now are lists of names and addresses, email distribution lists, donation history, and lots of other types of information in spreadsheets, databases, and emails lists.

Data conversion is a process of cleaning up and moving this data into your new database. Sumac offers a service that takes care of data conversion for you for  a very reasonable rate, or you can do it yourself.
