A GrantStation membership provides Canadian nonprofits and public libraries with profiles on current grantmakers and step-by-step tutorials on how to secure available funding. Developed and tested by fundraising professionals, GrantStation information is based on in-depth and ongoing research. All GrantStation membership benefits are accessible through the Internet. Users do not need to download or install software.
Before requesting a membership, make sure your organization's email address is up-to-date in your TechSoup Canada member profile. Within 10 business days after your request has been approved, GrantStation will email activation information to this address.

Canadian-Specific Information
GrantStation now includes a separate section dedicated to Canadian grantmakers. The Canadian Grant listings are divided into two easy to search areas: the Canadian Charitable Giving Database and the Canadian Government Grants & Loans section.
The Canadian Charitable Giving database: provides access to profiles of private grantmakers who give throughout Canada and within particular provinces and territories. The top 500 Canadian grantmakers are covered in this database and additional grantmakers based in Canada and other countries are being added weekly.
The Canadian Government Grants & Loans section: provides information regarding potential governmental sources of financial and technical assistance, divided by province, and sorted by: Federal and Provincial-funded Agencies, Provincial-funded Agencies and Provincial Departments.
GrantStation Canadian Insider Newsletter
The Canadian Insider will feature information relevant to a wide range of Canadian charities, including organizations working in education, health, social services, community development, children and youth, and the environment, will be published 11 times a year but will only be available to those organizations with full Membership access to the GrantStation website.
- U.S. Charitable Giving: Members get connected to the top national, regional, and local giving programs. They can perform powerful, targeted searches on thousands of private grantmakers, including foundations, corporate giving programs, religious funders, and associations with grantmaking programs.
- International Charitable Giving: Identify grantmakers based in other countries that support organizations throughout the world.
- Write and Learn: Step-by-step tutorials on building grant requests, writing letters of inquiry, and managing grant awards.
Important Information for Public Libraries
Eligible libraries may request GrantStation for back-office use or other administrative purposes by library staff only. GrantStation must not be used by library patrons via public access computers.

Obtaining This Product
Expect two emails. When your donation request has been approved, TechSoup Canada will send a message to your organization email address with preliminary information about obtaining this product. Shortly after, the donor partner will send an email with information needed to complete the installation or activation.
