Get Ready for Your Fiscal Year End: Ordering Tips

Is your organization’s end of fiscal year March 31st? To ensure that you can get your donations in time, our team has put together some useful tips to help you with the ordering process.

Update your account information

If you need to make big changes to your account - like your email, shipping address or main contact person, email us so we can update it for you.

Can't remember your username or password?

If you have forgotten your password, click on "Log in" on the top right hand side of the screen and select the "Forgot Your Password" link. Enter your username and click "Email new password". A one-time log in link will be sent to the email on your TechSoup Canada account and you will be able to create a new password.

If you don't remember your username, please email us. We do not allow online username retrieval for the security of you and your organization.

Wrong Orders & Refunds

Most donated products are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once payment is complete - even in the case of a wrong order. So please be very careful when placing an order. Make sure you have the right version, language and product before you make a payment.

Be Aware of Donor Program Restrictions and Guidelines

All of our donor programs have different restrictions to the eligibility of each organization as well as the number of licenses and frequency of ordering. Make sure you verify your organization and program qualification status (click on "My Account" after you log in) and find out how many licences you can request.

  • Insider Tip:  To see what is left of your Microsoft Donation allotment, visit "My Microsoft Donation Centre," found under "My Account" after you log in.

Extended Phone Hours for March 2017

We understand the urgency for placing these orders by March 31st. In addition to our regular phone hours (10am to 4pm EDT, Monday to Thursday), we are extending phone hours on:

Thursday, March 30th, phone hours are extended from 10am to 6pm EDT

Friday, March 31st, phones will be opened from 10am to 5pm EDT

  • Insider Tip: When you email or leave a voicemail, don’t forget to include your organization name and contact information so we can call/email you back. If you have the order ID in question, please include that as well. This helps us to locate your record a lot faster.
