How do I renew my Sumac Silver donation?

Eligible Organizations May Renew Sumac Silver each year through TechSoup Canada.


What module are included with my Sumac Silver donation?

All the roots modules are included with this donation. Each organization can choose up to two specialized modules without any additional cost. Learn more about the modules available.

Eligibility Criteria

This donation is available only to Canadian Registered Charities registered with the Canada Revenue Agency, Canadian nonprofits incorporated either provincially or at the federal level, and Canadian public libraries with a library symbol from Library and Archives Canada.

Donated product will be distributed under this program to qualifying organizations only, not to individuals.

Guidelines

Eligible organizations must have an annual operating budget, (total annual expenses), of less than $2 million (CAD.)

  • Case Management - Track client information, service delivery, and run outcome-based reports for human service organizations. 
  • Membership Management - Automate applications, payments and renewals to save time, and allow membership functions on your website. 
  • Volunteer Management - Track volunteers' qualifications and availability, assign tasks with ease, record effort spent and follow up with personalized communication. 
  • Customization - Track data unique to your organization with the Custom Add-on 
  • Reporting - Run reports in a few clicks with hundreds of built-in, and pre-defined reports.

Sumac Silver details

Capacity: Up to 1,000 contacts (donors, volunteers, etc.) in the database.
Users: One user at a time if data is hosted on your computer; 10 simultaneous users if you opt for Sumac Cloud, and data is hosted online.

Add-ons: Sumac Silver can accommodate any number of Add-ons. (Please note: This donation includes one Add-on from a select list. Others can be purchased directly through Sumac).

If you need to track more than 1,000 contacts, order Sumac Gold.

Subscription & Renewals

This donation covers all first-year software fees (including the Basic CRM and one Add-on), online training, and unlimited email support and updates. Please note: It does not include services or additional Add-ons.

Eligible organizations may renew Sumac Silver each year through TechSoup Canada.

Note: This donation is available only to new Sumac customers or organizations who have received a donation of Sumac Silver through TechSoup Canada in the past. Individuals or organizations who have purchased Sumac (directly through Sumac) are not eligible for this donation.

Please note, by requesting Sumac Silver through TechSoup Canada, you will no longer be eligible to request a donation of Sumac Gold.

Support

Phone and email support is included at no additional charge with every installation of Sumac. Updates and upgrades are also free, and installed automatically.

The administrative fee for this product is not refundable, and the product can not be exchanged.

Obtaining This Product

Once your donation is approved, you’ll get an email from TechSoup. You’ll also get an email from Sumac that will link you to an order form where you can choose your Add-ons and additional services like Data Migration, Website Integration, and Sumac Cloud. 

Implementation

Once you've been approved for a donation of Sumac Silver, you’ll need to migrate your data into your new database. We highly recommend Sumac’s Data Migration service to do this. The Data Migration service also includes customization of your Sumac database.

Subscription & Renewals

This donation covers all first-year software fees (including the Basic CRM and Add-ons), online training, 2 hours of personal training, unlimited phone and email support, and automatic updates. 

Services like Data Migration, Website Integration, and Sumac Cloud can be ordered directly through Sumac for an additional fee. After the first year, you must renew your entire subscription directly through Sumac. 

Please note: This donation is only for first-time users of Sumac who have never purchased Sumac or received a donation from Sumac through TechSoup Canada.

Support
